Skills, title, keywords, experience, location and resume quality each earn points up to their weight.

ATS score, answered
Is this the same score a company's ATS gives me?
No company shares its ATS rules, so nobody can promise that. JobPluck's score measures how well your resume covers what this specific post asks for, which is what those systems look at first.
Why is the score the same every time?
Because it's a formula, not a model. Skills are worth 40 points, title 15, keywords 15, experience 15, location and work mode 10, resume quality 5. The same resume and post always give the same number.
What counts as a “partial” skill?
A skill your resume implies without naming it, such as SQL when you list PostgreSQL, JavaScript when you list TypeScript, or AWS when you list S3 and Lambda. It earns partial credit and is labelled so you can decide whether to spell it out.
Why did a sales job score low for me?
When a job's role family doesn't overlap with your target roles at all, the score is capped at 45. That keeps a keyword coincidence from pushing an unrelated job up your list.
Does the score decide what gets sent?
Only if you turn auto-apply on. Then only matches at or above your minimum ATS (60 by default) are queued. With auto-apply off, you choose every application yourself.
