Questions people ask first.

Every job you see passed six checks: it links to a real post, it has a recruiter email, that email’s domain accepts mail, nobody has bounced on it, it was posted within the last 30 days, and it isn’t a duplicate of another post. If any check fails later, the job drops out of your matches.

From hiring posts published on LinkedIn: feeds, hashtags and job groups. Each post is turned into a structured job (role, company, city, experience, skills) with the recruiter’s email, and the phone number when the post had one.

New posts are indexed within minutes of being collected, and anything older than 30 days drops out of matching. Your matches refresh every six hours, or whenever you change your profile.

No. JobPluck is an independent product. We read public hiring posts, always link back to the original, and offer posters a simple way to request removal.

Use the contact page with the link to your post. We remove it and add the post to a block list so it isn’t collected again.

Recruiters often call before they reply. Every application includes your number, so JobPluck asks for it before showing jobs or sending anything. LinkedIn and GitHub links are optional.

No. The parser reads the text of your PDF or Word file and uses rules and a skills dictionary to find your contact details, skills, titles and years of experience. You review the result before anything is used.

It’s a fixed, explainable formula: required-skill coverage, role match, keyword coverage, experience fit, location fit and resume quality. Every point is shown, so you can see what to change.

From yours. You connect your own mailbox, and every application and reply goes out as you. Recruiters reply to your inbox, and JobPluck reads only the threads it started.

Gmail and Google Workspace through Google’s secure sign-in, or any mailbox that supports IMAP and SMTP with an app password. Outlook sign-in is next.

Only threads it started, and replies to them. Nothing else in your mailbox is read or stored. Disconnecting revokes access and stops anything still queued.

Free: 10. Pro: a cap you set between 10 and 150. New mailboxes start lower and warm up, sends are spaced 45–90 seconds apart, and sending pauses automatically if bounces rise above 5%.

Yes. Pick a template or write your own with placeholders for the role, company, your matched skills, notice period and signature. Each email is filled in per job, so it reads specific without any AI writing it.

Not unless you turn that on. Both automation switches, auto-apply and auto-reply, are off by default. Until you switch them on, every outgoing email waits in your approval queue.

The thread moves to “Needs your reply” and you get a notification and an email. You answer from the conversation view, with your answer bank one click away. JobPluck never guesses, and never sends documents on its own.

As soon as an interview is scheduled, after three automatic replies on one thread, when someone says they’re not interested, or the moment you hit the pause switch. Any of these hands the conversation back to you.

Your profile lives in our database; your resume is stored in private object storage and is only ever streamed to you. Mailbox tokens are encrypted. Deleting your account removes your resume, messages and tokens within 30 days.

Codes for verifying your email and resetting your password, plus optional emails: interview alerts, “needs your reply” alerts (at most one every 30 minutes), mailbox problems, a daily summary and setup reminders. Every optional email has an unsubscribe link and a switch in Settings.

No. Accounts use an email and password, and we verify the email with a six-digit code. Connecting Gmail as your sending mailbox is a separate, optional step.
