JobPluck started as a script that copied hiring posts into a spreadsheet. It became a product the day that spreadsheet had more real, direct-contact jobs than the Jobs tab.
Most hiring on LinkedIn happens in the feed.
A recruiter writes “We’re hiring a Data Engineer, 5+ years, Pune, send your CV to…” and the post gets a few hundred views before it sinks. If you weren’t scrolling that hashtag that hour, you never saw it.
We were. For weeks we scrolled, copied emails, wrote the same message forty times and kept a spreadsheet nobody wanted to update. It worked, slowly: ten or twenty applications on a good day.
